Individuals can attend a no-cost training for a career in the IT field.
The live, virtual instructor-led training is for 12-weeks, part-time, from August 17 through October 6, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The training covers a technical computer curriculum geared toward the CompTIA A+ certification. Graduates are then connected to local employers for jobs.
To be eligible for the free training, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Space is limited and applicants should contact WorkSource before August 1 to see if they are eligible.
